Located in the popular northern suburb of Cairns in Smithfield, Murraya is a convenient, affordable and secluded facility for team meetings, planning days and workshops.

It's sometimes difficult to find a venue that well serves smaller groups. Our air conditioned function and conference centre is perfect for events from 5 - 300 people with clean, comfortable accomodation for 350 guests, conveniently adjacent.

Choose from the Murraya room with seating for up to 120, the Dining Hall, which seats up to 300, the Inside Lounge with seating for 20, or the Poolside and Garden with seating for 80 guests.

"The Dining Hall"

Available during the semester breaks and by prior arrangements during other times. "The Dining Hall" is suitable for theatre style seating for 300 and Banquet Style 250. Menus and costings are available on request. Special Accomodation and Meal Packages are also available on request.

"Murraya Room"

Our purpose built function room which provides a sun taste ambience for many types of functions and occasions. It is conveniently located next to our "Dining Hall" and enjoys an outlook over a private garden setting which is ideal for morning/afternoon tea breaks or a fresco lunch.

"Poolside Bar and Lounge"

Offers a superb indoor/outdoor setting for private, social or business functions and is adjacent to the swimming pool, volley ball court and pool table. Menus and costings available on request.

We can even fire up the big gas BBQ and you can have your 'do' al fresco, by the pool and perhaps after a game of volley ball.

There's plenty of both on-site and off-street parking.

 

In between serious brainstorming and planning, you and your group are welcome to use our volley ball court, our swimming pool and our pool table.
